djoyx (“we”, “us”) operates the djoyx website at djoyx.com, the djoyx web application at app.djoyx.com, and the djoyx iOS app. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we share it with third-party AI, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information — email address and basic profile data when you sign in (for example via Sign in with Apple or Google).
Voice and session data — live microphone audio during lessons, companion chats, or translation; session conversation content; lesson prompts; learning-profile summaries; vocabulary; and curriculum context. This is sent to our cloud proxy so the agent tutor can listen and reply in real time.
Language preferences — native and target languages you choose.
Camera data (optional, web only) — if you enable camera features on the web app, video frames may be sent to process expressions or photo requests during a session. The iOS app does not use the camera.
Learning progress — vocabulary, session history, course progress, and certificates are stored to personalise your experience. Much of this is stored on your device; account-linked data may also be stored on our servers.
Payment information — Pro and Super subscriptions are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card details on djoyx servers.
Technical data — device/browser type, approximate region, and logs needed to secure and operate the service.

2. How we use information

Provide and improve voice lessons, companion mode, translation, and certificates.
Authenticate you and manage your subscription.
Verify certificates when someone scans a QR code or visits a verification link.
Prevent abuse, enforce limits on free plans, and keep the service reliable.
Respond to support requests and legal obligations.

3. AI and third-party processors (Google Gemini)

To power Live Voice and related AI tutoring, djoyx sends session data through our cloud proxy to Google Gemini (a Google third-party AI service / Gemini Live). In practice:

What is shared with Gemini: microphone audio streams; spoken conversation content; lesson prompts and tutoring context (including curriculum briefs and vocabulary when relevant); and language preferences needed for the session.
Who receives it: Google (Gemini), via djoyx’s cloud proxy / backend. Your account is authenticated on djoyx servers before a session starts; we do not send your email to Gemini as part of the live audio stream.
Why: so the AI tutor can listen and reply in real time. This is not used for advertising by djoyx.

Before the first voice/AI session, the app asks for your affirmative permission in-app (Accept / Continue). A privacy policy link is provided there as well. You can stop a session anytime by disconnecting.

We also use payment and authentication providers for billing and sign-in. Those providers process data only as needed to deliver their service to us.

4. Data retention

We keep account and certificate verification records while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, or billing purposes. Local learning data on your device remains until you clear it or uninstall the app. Live audio is processed to run the session and is not retained by djoyx as a permanent recording library.

5. Your choices

You must accept in-app AI sharing disclosure before Live Voice starts.
You can stop a session anytime by disconnecting.
Camera access is optional on web and only used when you request related features; iOS does not use the camera.
You can delete your account from the in-app profile menu (permanent deletion of account and associated learning data).
You may also request access, correction, or deletion of account data by contacting us.
You can cancel a Pro or Super subscription through the payment provider used at checkout (App Store on iOS).

6. Children

djoyx is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where our servers or providers (including Google) operate.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above.

djoyx (“kami”) mengoperasikan situs djoyx.com, aplikasi web app.djoyx.com, dan aplikasi iOS djoyx. Kebijakan ini menjelaskan data apa yang kami kumpulkan, untuk apa, bagaimana kami membagikannya ke AI pihak ketiga, dan pilihan yang kamu punya.

Preferensi bahasa — bahasa ibu dan bahasa target yang kamu pilih.
Kamera (opsional, web saja) — jika kamu mengaktifkan fitur kamera di web, frame video bisa dikirim untuk fitur terkait ekspresi atau foto. Aplikasi iOS tidak memakai kamera.
Progres belajar — kosakata, riwayat sesi, progres kursus, dan sertifikat disimpan untuk personalisasi. Sebagian besar tersimpan di perangkatmu; data terkait akun juga bisa disimpan di server kami.
Pembayaran — langganan Pro dan Super diproses oleh penyedia pembayaran. Kami tidak menyimpan detail kartu lengkap di server djoyx.
Data teknis — jenis perangkat/browser, wilayah perkiraan, dan log untuk keamanan dan operasional layanan.

2. Cara kami menggunakan informasi

Menyediakan dan meningkatkan les suara, companion, terjemahan, dan sertifikat.
Autentikasi dan pengelolaan langganan.
Verifikasi sertifikat saat QR code atau tautan verifikasi dipakai.
Mencegah penyalahgunaan, menegakkan batas paket gratis, dan menjaga layanan tetap andal.
Menanggapi permintaan dukungan dan kewajiban hukum.

3. AI & pihak ketiga (Google Gemini)

Untuk menjalankan Live Voice dan tutor AI, djoyx mengirim data sesi lewat proxy cloud kami ke Google Gemini (layanan AI pihak ketiga dari Google / Gemini Live). Secara praktis:

Apa yang dibagikan ke Gemini: stream audio mikrofon; isi percakapan; prompt lesson dan konteks tutoring (termasuk brief kurikulum dan kosakata bila relevan); serta preferensi bahasa untuk sesi.
Siapa yang menerima: Google (Gemini), melalui proxy cloud / backend djoyx. Akunmu diautentikasi di server djoyx sebelum sesi dimulai; email tidak dikirim ke Gemini sebagai bagian dari stream audio live.
Mengapa: agar tutor AI bisa mendengar dan membalas secara real-time. Ini bukan untuk iklan oleh djoyx.

Sebelum sesi suara/AI pertama, aplikasi meminta izin afirmatif di dalam app (Setuju / Lanjut), beserta tautan ke kebijakan privasi. Kamu bisa menghentikan sesi kapan saja dengan memutuskan koneksi.

Kami juga memakai penyedia pembayaran dan autentikasi. Mereka memproses data hanya sejauh diperlukan untuk layanan mereka kepada kami.

4. Penyimpanan data

Kami menyimpan data akun dan verifikasi sertifikat selama akun aktif dan sejauh diperlukan untuk hukum, keamanan, atau penagihan. Data belajar lokal di perangkatmu tetap ada sampai kamu menghapusnya atau mencopot aplikasi. Audio live diproses untuk menjalankan sesi dan tidak disimpan oleh djoyx sebagai perpustakaan rekaman permanen.

5. Pilihan kamu

Kamu harus menyetujui pengungkapan berbagi AI di dalam app sebelum Live Voice dimulai.
Kamu bisa menghentikan sesi kapan saja dengan memutuskan koneksi.
Akses kamera bersifat opsional di web; iOS tidak memakai kamera.
Kamu bisa menghapus akun dari menu profil di dalam aplikasi (penghapusan permanen akun dan data belajar terkait).
Kamu juga bisa meminta akses, koreksi, atau penghapusan data akun dengan menghubungi kami.
Langganan Pro atau Super bisa dibatalkan lewat penyedia pembayaran yang dipakai saat checkout (App Store di iOS).

6. Anak-anak

djoyx tidak ditujukan untuk anak di bawah 13 tahun. Kami tidak dengan sengaja mengumpulkan data pribadi dari anak di bawah 13 tahun.

7. Keamanan

Kami memakai langkah standar industri untuk melindungi data saat transit dan penyimpanan. Tidak ada metode transmisi internet yang 100% aman.

8. Transfer internasional

Informasimu bisa diproses di negara lain tempat server atau penyedia kami (termasuk Google) beroperasi.

9. Perubahan

Kami bisa memperbarui kebijakan ini sewaktu-waktu. Versi baru akan diposting di halaman ini beserta tanggal di atas.
